Pennies for Patients donations are due back this Friday, May 10! Search those couch cushions and car floorboards for every cent for this amazing research!


We would like to invite you and the whole family out to the 2nd Annual Night of Innovation for Simpson County Schools which will be Tuesday night, April 30 from 5-8 at Franklin-Simpson Middle School. This event will host a variety of activities for children from preschool all the way to adult. Come and explore as a family new and interesting topics that might just spark a passion in your students. With over 40 stations you and your child are definitely going to find something that excites you from art, virtual reality, soldering, blacksmithing, ukulele classes, CSI, fresh pasta making, and much much more. Come with an appetite because there will be 6 food trucks on hand for the night. The entrance to the event will be through the back of the middle school. We hope to see everyone Tuesday, April 30 from 5-8 at Franklin-Simpson Middle School for the Night of Innovation!


Our school is participating in a fundraising opportunity called Pennies for Patients. The money raised will be going to help the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. Let’s be heroes and help raise funds for this cause!

If you have a child not currently enrolled in a preschool or daycare setting and will be 5 on or before August 1, please contact Franklin Elementary so that we may provide information for your child’s upcoming enrollment.


Our district-wife STEAM Showcase is tomorrow night from 5:00 to 6:30 at the High School gym. Please consider coming to support our amazing kindergarten students as they showcase what we have been working on in STEAM class this year. We hope to see you there!


PTO and Site Base Decision Making Council nomination forms for the 2019-2020 school year can be located in the front office. Please consider serving in one of these places next year.


Join us On Thursday for our PTO sponsored Glow Party! Food Trucks will be arriving at 4:30. The event begins at 5:30.


We wrapped up Read Across America week with hat day today! Dr. Seuss is such an inspiration to so many and we have had such a great week celebrating him!

We love hat day so much that we figured out how to wear them in the computer lab too!


Thank you Dr. Flynn for presenting our staff Joy Giver awards this morning. A special Dr. Seuss character caught him before he left!
