We’re excited to welcome all students back to school tomorrow. We’ll be on a regular schedule. Wildcats, the snooze button’s reign is over.

Simpson Co. Schools: SCS Closed Friday Feb 6th- NTI day #9. Not much has changed in the past 24 hrs. We look forward to seeing everyone on Monday Feb 9th.

Simpson Co. Schools: SCS closed Thurs Feb 5 NTI Day #8. We will continue to monitor but have areas that are just not safe for buses, cars, students and staff.

Simpson Co. Schools: SCS closed Wed Feb 4, NTI day #7. We had lots of melting today, but still have several roads that are ice covered and just one lane.

Good morning! Today is Day 2 for NTI work. Pictures of the worksheets that should be completed for Kindergarten students are attached. Preschool teachers will post activities for their classes on their class pages. Good evening FES Families! Tomorrow, will be our NTI Day #1 (Tuesday, Jan. 27th). Hopefully everyone has located your RED Folder with your NTI packets. If you are unable to locate the packets, you can click the link below to access packets for Day 1. You will also find additional activities kids can view/complete. Once students complete the Day 1 packet, they are finished for the day. All work in the packet should be something students can complete independently. Teachers will be available via rooms if any student needs support. All you have to do is message your child's teacher. We hope everyone is staying safe and warm. Good morning FES Families! Thank you for your flexibility this morning! It's not ideal to have to delay school, but for safety concerns the decision was made, so thank you for your cooperation.
School will dismiss for Kindergarten at normal time (3:00p). Preschool will also dismiss at normal time which is (2:20p). Preschool PM Classes will start arrival at 11:20a and dismiss at 2:20p. Again, thank you for your flexibility. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the school. Thanks!

SCS buses will be leaving the transportation department around 8:25 to 8:30am for pick up. Just wanted to inform everyone that they will be leaving here shortly to pick up the students.

The top-selling kindergarten boy and girl, top kindergarten classroom, top-selling preschool boy and girl, and top preschool classroom will earn the ultimate reward—the chance to pie Mr. Pyles in the face! 

For the winning classrooms, the teachers will represent their class and do the pie-ing on behalf of their students.

Our fundraiser runs through next Friday, so there’s still time to sell, sell, sell! Let’s see who earns the chance to smash a pie in Mr. Pyles’ face! 

Each month, we'll send PurposeFull Pursuits to provide fun challenges you can pursue together! These are simple ways to intentionally reinforce the skills we are working on at school, while providing fun strategies to grow together as a family. Please join us at FES at 4:30 PM on Monday, September 8th as we celebrate grandparents! We will have storytime, crafts, and snacks available for purchase from Pelican’s and Kenna’s Cones.
