Students from LES and FSMS performed in the All-State Elementary Modern Band held at the annual KMEA Conference this evening. This was the first modern band performance at the KMEA Conference and also in the country.

Simpson Co. Schools: Simpson Co. Schools will be closed for in person learning tomorrow January 22nd. It will be NTI day #5. Reminder that staff/teachers will be available from 8-3pm for any assistance. We have many spots within the city and county and that still are snow and ice covered. We feel very confident that with the temperatures getting above freezing and the forecast of sunshine tomorrow we will see these area melt and we can return to school on Tuesday.
