4th grade field trip to Kentucky Down Under is tomorrow, Friday April 22nd! It will be a warm day tomorrow, please make sure your child is prepared for the weather with sunscreen if needed. There will be lots of walking so please make sure your child wears tennis shoes and comfortable clothes. Don’t forget your child’s lunch if they are bringing theirs from home. We are looking forward to a fun day!!

LES is celebrating Black History Month with daily Black History Month facts, weekly activities, and prizes and giveaways. Students can go to bit.ly/lesbhm to find information about Black History Month. Students will be able to answer a question about a daily Black History Month fact to be entered into drawings, read books for AR points about Black History to be entered into drawings, and other activities. LES Families,
Your child is coming home prepared if we have to utilize an NTI day this week due to inclement weather. Your child is bringing home their assigned Chromebook and charger. Each teacher at LES has a Schoology page that students can access.
A few things to remember during an NTI day;
1) Teachers will be available from 8:00 to 3:00.
2) If your child doesn't have internet at home, then an NTI packet was sent home so that work can be completed. If it is announced NTI day 1, then Day 1 will be completed in the NTI packet.
3). The NTI days help with the continuation of learning and allow students to stay on track during the inclement weather.
Work for the day must be completed. Chromebook and chargers will need to come back to LES the next day we are back to school.
