Wildcat Families, don't forget there will be no school for students on Friday, March 10, 2023, due to a Learning Community Day for Franklin-Simpson teachers and staff!
SCS will have regular dismissal time. However, the buses will not run until 4:00pm at the earliest. We will not dismiss students to walk at this time either. If you would like to come pick your child up from school that is fine. We will re-evaluate bus transportation at 4:00pm.
Thank you to all the bus drivers out there who make sure our kids get to school safely! Our day begins with you!

Thursday, 1/26 join the Family Resource Center/Little Cats for a Spirit Night benefiting the Simpson Co Chapter of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library @ Wildfire BBQ. 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the program promoting kindergarten readiness and early childhood literacy!

LES students have NTI packets for when we have inclement weather. Please ask for the packet and put in a safe place. For example, if the Superintendent, Mr. Schlosser, calls for NTI first day then you would do all work that is part of day one if you have no internet connection or Chromebook sent home. The packet has five days of work. Please if you have any questions, please call the school.

Star Testing for Math and Reading will be Monday, December 5th and Tuesday, December 6th. Be sure kiddos get a good night’s rest.
Christmas Lunch for 4th grade will be Wednesday, December 14th. The forms are due back next week. 5th grade will have a lunch later in the year.

Money for the PTO Chocolate Fundraiser is due tomorrow. We currently have 139 students that still need to turn in their money. If it’s easier, you can Venmo the money to LES PTO (@LESPTO45).
