This year, Family Resource Youth Services Centers across the state are being recognized the week of February 8-12. FRYSC Day in Kentucky is Wednesday, February 10. To celebrate, FRYSCs across the state are asking that you display a picture of the attached “We Love Our FRYSC” logo that week in the window of your business, organization, church, home, etc. and also post pictures to Facebook using the hashtag #FRYSCStrong to recognize the dedication that these centers provide for our students and families every day.

On Friday, November 20, 2020 City of Franklin and State officials will gather on the steps of the Capitol in Frankfort where a proclamation will be read honoring the City of Franklin and the Bicentennial celebration. The proclamation will be placed in a tube and handed off to make its journey 200 miles to Franklin. This relay journey will be conducted by over 100 individuals running a portion of the route from Frankfort to Franklin. Join us in cheering on our Simpson County Schools runners! Shelina Smith, LeAnn Fisher, Lucinda Eversman, Harlan Holme, and Byron Darnall will start at Ft. Harrod in Harrodsburg, KY at an estimated start time of 3:45pm CST and ending in Perryville, KY around 5:15pm CST.

Lincoln Elementary Parents,
Individual pictures will be Monday, November 23, 2020 for blue day students.
Pictures will be on Tuesday November 24, 2020 for white day students. All virtual students may have his or pictures taken on Monday or Tuesday morning in the gym between 8:00 and 10:00.
Also, fundraising packets need to be turned in Wednesday, November 18, 2020 or Thursday, November 19, 2020.

Things to remember as we start school at Lincoln: 4th grade drop off and pick up in front of building and 5th grade drop off and pick up in back of building. Please bring masks and we will also give each student a mask. Finally, please bring Chromebook charged and with charger. LES is excited to see our students. Please be patient as we work to keep everyone safe.

Dear Parents,
We are preparing to bring our students back on October 12th for blue days and October 13th for white days. I will be sending out daily-important things to know for a successful beginning.
1. 4th graders will be dropped off and picked up in the front of the building. 5th graders will be dropped off and picked up in the back of the building. School drop off will begin at 7:30 a.m. and pick up will begin for both grades at 3:05 p.m.. If there are students in both grades, they will be picked up in the front of the building.
2. Students must wear masks in the building unless eating or drinking. We will provide two mask breaks a day.
