  • Budgeting: Tuesday, October 15th, 2019, 9:30 am -10:30 am at Simpson Elementary in the Family resource Center. Come and learn about ways to budget and save money.
  • Love & Logic: Thursday, October 17th, 2019 9:30 am-10:30 am at Simpson Elementary in the Family Resource Center. This class will give you practical parenting skills that can be used immediately!
  • Infinite Campus 101: Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019 9:30 am -10:30 am at the Simpson County Board of Education (430 College St.). This class will teach you the ends and outs of using Infinite Campus to stay up to date   with your child's attendance and grades.
  •  Lice and Bed Bugs are Not Nice: Monday, October 28th, 2019 9:30 am -10:30 am at  Simpson Elementary in the Family Resource Center. This class will include lots of information on head lice, an all too often nuisance found among kids today.  The facts vs. the myths of head lice will be discussed including detecting, treating, and ridding your home of these pesky pests! Also this class will discuss information about bed bug identification, bites and health concerns, and control.
  • Technology: Thursday, October24th, 2019 9:30 am -10:30 am at Simpson Elementary in the Family Resource Center. Come learn how to navigate the district webpage and login on to different online programs to help your child to learn at home.

  • FSMS Parent Night: Thursday, October24th, 2019 5:30 pm -6:30 pm at Franklin-Simpson Middle School. Come out and hear the results of the 2018-19 Kprep scores plus much more information. (MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY)
  • Ready Rosie: Thursday, November 7th, 2019 9:30 am -10:30 am at Simpson Elementary in the Family Resource Center. Come learn about the Ready Rosie Program and how it can help promote school readiness.
  • Volunteer Hours: (Must completed by the parent only. Hours must be documented and signed off by agency on Elf Connection volunteer sheet that you can receive by contacting the Family Resource Center.) *GED and College Classes will count as volunteer hours, as well as parent teacher conferences.
