Fluency Homework and Practice                                

We have many strategies we can use to take control of stuttering.
Practice the strategies you have learned.  Start with five minutes at a time and slowly increase the time you are focusing on the strategies.
See the page with strategies if you need a reminder.
Catch yourself when you stutter and try to think about what you can do to change the tension and timing.
When you watch TV or listen to others talking do you notice any dysfluencies?
Remember: everyone has some dysfluencies sometimes.
